Mountable shaft collars with face holes are designed to mate directly with components such as sprockets, pulleys, and metallic plates. Ruland manufactures them with drilled holes for mounting flexibility or threaded holes for the most secure connection between the collar and mated component. They are offered in steel, aluminum, and 303 stainless steel in bore sizes ranging from 3/8” to 2” and 10mm to 50mm.
Clamp style universal joints improve over set screw style because they do not mar the shaft, offer infinite adjustability, and can be used on all shaft types. Ruland VMSF64-26-M10-45-70-FZNI is a rubber leveling foot with a threaded stud. It has a 64mm outside diameter, M10 threaded stud, 45mm stud length, and 26mm height. This rubber leveling foot can be used on a floor or other flat surface to dampen shock loads and reduce noise and wear on industrial equipment such as conveyors, motors, fans, and pumps. The threaded stud is riveted to the body which allows it to directly withstand compressive forces and effectively transmit the load to the rubber jacket. This is critical as loads are often unevenly distributed during operation due to imperfections in the floor or surface the leveling foot rests on. VMSF64-26-M10-45-70-FZNI can be mounted to the system by passing it through an unthreaded hole and securing with a nut or threading it directly into tapped holes on the component it will be mounted to. The rubber jacket is made from nitrile for better wear and corrosion resistance than natural rubber. It has 70 Shore A hardness for high rigidity and load capacity. The zinc plated steel body allows for high strength and is suitable for most industrial applications.
