Shipping Policy for Online Orders
Ruland Manufacturing Co., Inc. makes every effort to process and ship orders for in-stock products placed before 4:30PM EST the same day. Orders placed after 4:30PM (EDT/EST) may be processed and shipped on the next business day.
When placing an order for out of stock products you will receive an order confirmation with an approximate ship date. When the order is shipped you will receive a shipping notification.
Products with partial stock can be split into multiple shipments by contacting us. Partial shipments may result in additional shipping charges. You will be notified of additional shipping charges by phone or email when the outstanding balance is ready to ship. You will receive a shipping notification for each shipment.
All expected shipping dates are estimates. Actual shipping dates may vary due to changes in manufacturing schedules. All shipments are visually inspected and neatly packaged before leaving our factory warehouse. If an order is damaged while shipping, please contact Customer Service.
Order confirmations and shipping notices will be sent to the email address you provided during checkout. Order confirmations include the payment method, order summary, and pricing. Shipping notifications include the carrier, shipment service, tracking information and expected shipping date.
Domestic Shipping
All domestic orders qualify for free 2nd day air shipping within the continental United States, Alaska, and Hawaii. The free shipping option will be the default shipping option on checkout. Quicker shipping methods will be available for an additional cost. Orders over 100 lbs. may be shipped using Ground service via an LTL carrier. This will be communicated with you after an order is placed.
International Shipping
International orders over $399 USD qualify for free expedited shipping. Orders under $399 USD are charged a flat rate of $35 USD for expedited shipping. Ruland reserves the right to ship with an alternate carrier and/or service at our discretion. Quicker shipping methods will be available for an additional cost. You are responsible for paying all customs fees, duties, and taxes directly to the logistics carrier. Ruland does not charge for these at time of checkout.
Sales Tax
Customers in Massachusetts will be charged a 6.25% sales tax. Sales tax charges will appear during checkout and on the order confirmation. Customers who are tax exempt can email their tax exempt certificate (Form ST-12) to Customer Service and be set up with a tax exempt account. If you have already placed an order we can refund your sales tax after we receive your tax exempt certificate.
Shipping Location Restrictions
Online orders require a physical address; we cannot ship to PO boxes or APO FPO addresses. To inquire about shipments to a PO Box or an APO FPO address, please contact Customer Service.
No order can be exported to destinations subject to U.S. embargoes or trade sanctions. For the most current information on U.S. embargoed and sanctioned countries, see the U.S. Export Administration Regulations and Treasury Department regulations.
Changes To This Shipping Policy
We may update our Shipping Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Shipping Policy on this page.
