Mountable shaft collars with face holes are designed to mate directly with components such as sprockets, pulleys, and metallic plates. Ruland manufactures them with drilled holes for mounting flexibility or threaded holes for the most secure connection between the collar and mated component. Ruland TW:SM-150-3/8-ADJ is an L-handle click type torque wrench with with a 3/8" square drive size. It can be set by the user to any torque setting from 30-150 lbs-in (3.38 Nm-16.95 Nm). The precision micrometer has 1 in-lb graduations and is easy to read. TW:SM-150-3/8-ADJ features a twist-locking action that prevents accidental changing of torque settings. When the selected torque value is reached, a distinct click is felt and heard, followed by a sudden release through several degrees of free movement. This ensures the user stops torquing at the appropriate time. The long slim handle makes this wrench ideal for tight spots where dial wrenches are not suitable. TW:SM-150-3/8-ADJ is manufactured by Seekonk Precision Tools in Seekonk, MA from chrome plated alloy steel for durability. It has an accuracy range of +/-4% + 1 in-lb and is supplied with a complimentary NIST certification. Periodic calibration is required depending on frequency of use.
