Mountable shaft collars with face holes are designed to mate directly with components such as sprockets, pulleys, and metallic plates. Ruland manufactures them with drilled holes for mounting flexibility or threaded holes for the most secure connection between the collar and mated component. They are offered in steel, aluminum, and 303 stainless steel in bore sizes ranging from 3/8” to 2” and 10mm to 50mm.
Clamp style universal joints improve over set screw style because they do not mar the shaft, offer infinite adjustability, and can be used on all shaft types. Ruland is the only North American supplier of clamp style universal joints and manufactures the clamp feature, bores, and keyways in our advanced manufacturing facility in Marlborough, MA USA. They are available in sizes from 1/4" to 1 1/4” in steel for high strength and stainless steel for corrosion resistance.
Ruland MT15-SSQ-200-A is a hollow square tube with scale with a 12mm outer diameter, 9mm inner diameter, and 200mm overall length. It is designed to fit with Ruland clamp connectors, swivel components, and mounting bases that begin with MT15. MT15-SSQ-200-A is made of aluminum for reduced weight when compared to stainless steel round tubes. It is used to support components for mounting sensors, screens, reflectors, plexiglass machine guards, and other industrial components. Major increments are 10mm and minor increments 1mm giving the user a high degree of adjustment precision. When the system combines this tube with a clamp or swivel connector with adjustable clamping handle, the user can make fine rapid adjustments for improved efficiency and accuracy. MT15-SSQ-200-A is a more cost effective option than equivalently sized stainless steel tubes. This tube is hollow for reduced weight and to help protect wires from components such as cords and screens from being damaged. When combined with MT15-SQTUBECAP-P tube caps the user can drill in the tube cap to reduce cords exposure to the operating environment for safety. MT15-SSQ-200-A is precision ground to help reduce surface imperfections. It is manufactured by Otto Ganter, inventoried by Ruland, and RoHS3 compliant.
