Question: Can I buy a Ruland coupling with a pilot bore?
Answer:No. We do not make any product with a pilot bore. Our condescending first question is going to be: why do you want a pilot bore? Most people are going to say that they see a coupling that is not in stock on our website and they believe that the lead time is going to be weeks before they get the part in their hands. Our lead times for any standard coupling are just a few days. We always prefer to do the finish work ourselves since the part has our name on it. This also ensure it will perform as inspected. In this case the customer wanted to put in a spline. Our guidance when you want do add something like this is to do it yourself. We do not manufacture splines or other bore geometries in standard couplings.
