Question: What is the axial load of a Ruland shaft collar?
Answer: The answer is it's all in the screw. On our website you can see that we publish the screw size for every part that we manufacture, including this MSP-70-F. Axial load for shaft collars is largely determined by the screw size and type. Axial load data shows that we haven't tested the MSP-70-F but we have tested the M8 clamp screw in the MSP-50-F. It is OK to use the MSP-50-F for axial load guidance on the MSP-70-F.
