Ruland Manufacturing is looking for a CNC Machine Operator to join a diverse manufacturing team that operates Haas, Brother, and RoboDrill CNC mills and lathes in a fast-paced production environment. The ideal team member must be willing to operate three to six machines at a time while performing routine inspections, making minor machine adjustments, and identifying visual product defects. The Machine Operator must be comfortable working in a collaborative environment where results are measured, and performance is rewarded. Team results are measured on a daily basis allowing for a transparent view of performance.

Ruland expects the Machine Operator to perform routine inspections to maintain our industry exceeding quality standards. Inspections are planned either by time on machine or number of parts run and are recorded on SPC sheets. Ruland uses standard monitoring and measuring equipment as well as visual aids to ensure compliance with documented standards. Machine Operators must possess good math skills and the ability to make routine program and mechanical adjustments to maintain quality. When parts produced do not match Ruland standards it is the Machine Operator’s responsibility to work with the supervisor to determine if the part can be reworked or scrapped.
