Marlborough, MA – Ruland Manufacturing now supplies adjustable clamping handles for a wide variety of industrial applications. Adjustable clamping handles (also referred to as adjustable levers) are ideal for clamping parts in confined spaces, adjusting the position of components on a shaft, and applications that require frequent, quick adjustments without tools.
Parts that make up modular mounting systems include: mounting brackets, bracket clamps, tubes/rods, tube end caps, mini-clamp tube connectors, swivel clamp tube connectors, mounting bases, portable magnet bases, clamping lever kits, and adjustable spring joints. The wide range of modular mounting components enables designers to customize systems to whatever the application requires.
Handles are an assembly comprised of a lever, a spring, a serrated insert, and a threaded stud or threaded hole. Threaded stud types are mounted into a pre-existing threaded hole and threaded hole types are mounted onto a pre-existing stud. Ruland adjustable clamping handles replace both metric hardware (M3-M16) and inch hardware (#10-32 to 5/8”) in applications where tools are not desirable or convenient. Once installed, users simply turn the lever to tighten and loosen the clamping force. Users can also lift the adjustable hand lever to turn it in either direction and release to anchor it in a new position without impacting the seating torque of the lever. This allows handles to be set to a desired torque and position, making them ideal for quickly adjusting parts in space constrained areas.
The levers on Ruland adjustable clamping handles range from 30mm-108mm long and are available in a lightweight glass fiber reinforced thermoplastic and a durable die cast zinc with a powder coated finish. The inserts, screws, and springs are made of either stainless steel for corrosive environments or steel with a blackened finish for higher holding power.
Adjustable clamping handles are used in a wide range of applications in industries such as packaging, medical, and food processing. All clamping levers from Ruland are RoHS3 and REACH compliant.
