Ruland ha simplificado en gran medida el proceso de selección de componentes para construir sistemas de montaje para sensores. Esta sección contiene tres estilos de sistemas de montaje para sensores prediseñados para las aplicaciones más comunes. Proporcionan al usuario la capacidad de comenzar con un diseño base y luego personalizarlo a las necesidades de la aplicación específica, como adicionar escalas a los tubos, la selección de la longitud de los tubos, y el uso de accesorios tales como: manijas de sujeción ajustables adicionales o bases magnéticas portátiles. Los sistemas prediseñados ahorran tiempo a los diseñadores al tener todas las piezas necesarias para construir un sistema completo en una página, tener archivos CAD para sistemas completos en lugar de los componentes individuales, y proporcionar un ejemplo de cómo los diferentes componentes se integran juntos en caso de que un diseño muestre la necesidad de construir un sistema personalizado. Todos los componentes modulares del sistema de montaje proceden de JW Winco y se almacenan en nuestra empresa en Marlborough, Massachusetts.
Modular mounting components consist of mini-clamp tube connectors, swivel clamp tube connectors, mounting bases, tubes/rods, and adjustable clamping levers that are designed to easily fit together. Ruland offers a large range of modular mounting components to enable nearly all positioning options for mounting systems. Tube connectors have standardized hole spacings, bore sizes, and thread dimensions that make Ruland modular mounting systems simple to build and replace. Once completed, modular mounting systems have a variety of uses such as positioning sensors, scanners, reflectors, cameras, coolant pipes, and air nozzles.
