Las perillas Ruland tienen forma de estrella para proporcionar un buen agarre, lo que facilita apretar y aflojar según sea necesario. Además de ser fáciles de apretar y aflojar, las perillas de estrella son ideales para espacios reducidos debido a sus pequeñas dimensiones y manejo sin herramientas. Las perillas de estrella Ruland están disponibles en agujero rosca y espárrago roscado en pulgada y métricos que van desde #10-32 TPI a 1/2 - 13 TPI o M4 a M16. Las perillas están hechas de plástico tecnopolímero resistente a los golpes con componentes de acero zincado y acero inoxidable resistente a la corrosión con componentes de acero inoxidable. Todas las perillas de estrella de Ruland cumplen con las regulaciones RoHS3.
El chavetero se utiliza para proporcionar par de conducción entre dos partes móviles. A menudo se utilizan junto con un acoplamiento para permitir mayores capacidades de par en la aplicación y evitar el deslizamiento en el eje. El Chavetero cuadrado Ruland se suministra en longitudes de 12" (300 mm), lo que permite al usuario reducirlo al tamaño adecuado para su aplicación. Tienen una tolerancia (+) para asegurar un ajuste exacto con la llave para una transmisión de potencia positiva y sin jugo. El Chavetero Ruland es de tipo recto con llaves cortas cuadradas. Están disponibles en acero recubierto en zinc para aplicaciones de par más alto, así como acero inoxidable para ambientes corrosivos. El Chavetero cuadrado Ruland es fabricado en Estados Unidos y cumple con las regulacioanes RoHS.
