How to Order

Complete Coupling: Jaw couplings are an assembly of two hubs and one spider

Hubs: Choose two hubs in inch or metric in any style with the same outside diameter

Spider: Choose spider to match performance criteria. The spider must have the same outside diameter as both hubs.

Each hub and spider is sold separetly

Material

  • Aluminum hubs are standard
  • Stainless steel hubs are available upon request

Inch to Metric Bore Combinations

  • Inch and metric hubs with the same outside diameter can be combined into a single coupling

Note 1 Hardware is alloy steel with black oxide finish. Parts MJS15 and MJS19 have one set screw on each end. MJS25, MJS33 and MJS41 have two set screws 90° apart.
Note 2 Performance ratings are for guidance only. The user must determine suitability for a particular application.
Note 3 Torque ratings for the couplings are based on the physical limitations/failure point of the spiders. In some cases, especially when the smallest standard bores are used or where shafts are undersized, slippage on the shaft is possible below the nominal torque of the spiders. Keyways are available to provide additional torque capacity in the shaft/hub connection when required. Please consult technical support for more assistance.
